In conjunction with the coming Christmas, Da Ma Cai volunteers through its Staff-In-The-Community programme, celebrated the festive season with the mentally disabled children of Bangsa Ria.
President of Bangsa Ria, Mr. Nagappan, welcomed the volunteers personally and explained that the centre was established in 2006, where they provide training to mentally disabled individuals on taking care of themselves, social skills, outdoor activities and simple tasks.
The volunteers joined the children on their morning activity, followed by helping the children on their daily tasks, playing jigsaw puzzles and art craft. They also shared a scrumptious lunch followed by giving out Christmas presents to the children.
Da Ma Cai also presented RM5,000 vouchers to the Centre to purchase groceries and teaching materials for the Centre’s daily use.
